How Can You Get Involved....
Join us on our next Short Term Missions Trip to Kenya in 2007!

The GMLT is now planning for our next short-term mission journey to Africa to serve with our Ministry Partners at PACE, Kenya. We will be looking at taking a group of about 10 people who are being called to go for a 2-3 week trip.

Each participant must be willing to commit 4-5 months of training, must have all necessary immunizations and be able to submit all the funds required (about $3000-$4000) one month before the departure date.

Forms are now available at the Harbour Global Missions desk to indicate interest and availability for three possible trip dates. The actual dates will be announced in August once the team has an indication of availability from possible participants. A general informational meeting will soon follow. Watch here and in the church bulletin for more upcoming information!

Additional Global Missions Training Opportunities:

ACMA Canada Ontario Regional Conference is being held on Saturday, September 23rd in Toronto. We will be leaving for the one-day event from Harbour at 7:30am and returning at around 5:30pm. The cost is $50.00 and anyone who is interested can call get in touch with Sheryl Thornton at 905-685-7582 or by e-mail at sthornton2@cogeco.ca for more details or to sign up! We are looking forward to a great day of learning and sharing about how we can more effectively “take the Gospel to people from every tribe, tongue and nation.” Acts 1:8

As well, the “Perspectives on the World Christian Movement” training course is being offered this fall in Hamilton. This is informative and life-changing 15 week course running from the week of Labour Day to December 11th will equip you to determine how your gifts and abilities can be most strategically used in world missions. Outstanding professors, mission leaders and strategists who are experts on the topic for their sessions will provide insight and practical resources for further exploration. Those who participate will be challenged to design personal strategies to see God’s plan for the nations fulfilled through their lives.
