Pat and Ruth Sheldon Serve in Kenya.
“How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news.” Rom 10:15
The GMLT team was very excited that Harbour Fellowship was able to send Patrick and Ruth Sheldon to Kenya this past August to serve at the PACE Bible College for eight months. God has given Patrick a heart for Church development and in going to serve at PACE he was able to help give these students from Kenya, Rwanda and Sudan, the tools they need to witness and minister to God’s children in Africa.

Here is an excerpt from their Kenya Mission Vision Statement:

Patrick and Ruth will continue to live in devotion to God and will commit their lives to hearing God’s call and following God’s footsteps. We feel we have been called to Nyahururu, Kenya to:

Equip Kenyan Pastors to worldly outreach. Patrick has been given a heart for Church development, and in going to Kenya; he hopes to give these students the tools they need to Witness and minister to God’s children

Develop the college beyond its current stage of development. Seeing as this college is fairly new, we want to make it more than just four walls. Rather, we want to make it into a place where students can worship and discover God for themselves.

Reach out to the villagers in Nyahururu, Kenya in word and action. Dear children let us not love with words on tongue, but with action and in truth. 1 John 3:18

Build relationships with the Kenyan people. We hope to advance God’s kingdom and maintain the great commission through love and friendships formed. We want to go beyond the basic foundations.

Pray for the Kenyan people. Even before we have left North America, the Kenyan people on our hearts.
